About Christin N. Richardson, MD
I’ve been practicing OB-GYN in Raleigh for over 20 years and feel fortunate to be a part of the UNC Rex Hospital Community. Originally from the North Carolina coast in New Bern, I moved to Durham for my undergraduate studies at Duke University. Although I will always be a blue devil at heart, I spent the next four years at UNC Chapel Hill for medical school.
I then completed my OB-GYN residency at UC San Diego. While I enjoyed the beaches and eternal sunshine in San Diego, I missed my NC home and family, so I returned to Raleigh to join the Capital Area OB-GYN family.
I truly enjoy caring for women through all stages of life-whether it’s guiding someone through a difficult pregnancy and postpartum, helping manage the changes that come with menopause, or providing well-women care. Building long-term relationships with my patients is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Outside of the office, you will usually find me reading, relaxing at the beach, or spending time with my two teenage daughters, my husband Jason and our sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Lola. I’m grateful for the opportunity to care for women and their families, and look forward to continuing to serve this community for many years to come.
