Certified Nurse Midwife Ferrell started with Fayetteville Woman’s Care in May 2015. She graduated with her BSN from North Carolina A&T State University in 2000, and her MSN with concentration in Midwifery from East Carolina University 2007. She is board certified as Certified Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Her interests include Teen Pregnancy prevention and care and Lactation Support. She served as an Assistant Professor and Preceptor at Methodist University (2014) in Physician Assistant Studies and volunteers at the Cumberland County Department of Public Health Teen Clinic. She spoke at the The Perinatal, Neonatal and Pediatric Conference in 2010, at concurrent sessions, including Fetal Monitoring and Postpartum Emergencies.
