About Alicia Walsh, MD
Dr. Walsh graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. She then attended Rutgers University/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she was elected for membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society.
She did her internship and residency at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, and became board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She worked at Women’s Care, in Somerville, N.J., prior to moving to Morganton with her husband. They live in Morganton with their two daughters.
Dr. Walsh joined A Woman’s View in 2006.
Her areas of clinical interest include adolescent care, contraception, menopausal care, and the treatment of abnormal paps.
Dr. Walsh enjoys reading and gardening.
