About Jessica Rhodes, DO, FACOG
Jessica Rhodes is a board certified OB/GYN, that offers the full scope of women’s health services to the Lake Norman community, at Empowered Women’s Health. She specializes in minimally invasive vaginal surgery and minimally invasive laparoscopy, providing her patients surgical treatments with less pain, shorter hospital stays, and fewer complications.
After earning her undergraduate degree from High Point University in High Point, North Carolina, Dr. Rhodes completed medical school at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She then relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, to complete her residency training at Franklin Square Medical Center.
Before opening her own private practice, Dr. Rhodes worked at both Lakeshore Women’s Specialists in Mooresville and Atrium Health in Lincolnton, North Carolina. She is trained in vNOTES (vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery), which increases the number of vaginal surgeries she is able to perform, as well as OMM (osteopathic manipulative medicine). With OMM, Dr. Rhodes is currently using manual manipulation to help alleviate the discomforts of pregnancy.
Dr. Rhodes is married and has two boys. They enjoy boating as a family.
