About Courtney VanderMeersh, MD
While Dr. VanderMeersch has lived throughout the southeast, including TN, SC, and NC, she now calls North Carolina home. She could not imagine working anywhere else but the Triad! She obtained a Bachelor of Science in genetics at Clemson University. She completed her medical education at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Columbia and was elected to the AOA medical honor society. She then completed her residency training at Wake Forest.
She is committed to providing evidence based, as well as patient-centered care, empowering women to make informed decisions about their health. Her special interests include high risk obstetrics, vaginal surgery, treatment of pelvic floor disorders and incontinence, and minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and robotic). She also enjoys routine patient care and strives to provide personalized care to women throughout all stages of their life.
In her free time, you can find her exploring local coffee shops, taking care of her chickens, walking/playing fetch with her precious Novia Scotia Duck Tolling Doodle Woodford, or spending time with her fiancé and her family.
