Dr. Stacy Travis, a native of Kentucky, received her Bachelors of Science degree at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. She received the Murray State University Presidential Scholarship, a prestigious four-year full academic scholarship. From there, she attended medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. Having selected a career in obstetrics and gynecology, she headed to Texas where she completed her internship and residency at the University of Texas – Southwestern at Parkland Memorial Hospital.
After working with Carolina Ob-Gyn Care in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she and Dr. Saltzman founded Biltmore Ob-Gyn in 1995.

I arrived 20 minutes early, as requested, and was in the waiting room until 15 minutes past my appointment time. I know sometimes the doctor gets behind; however, this seems to happen more often than not.
