Dr. Rivard is a native of Quebec, Canada. She received her B.S. in Health Sciences from le CEGEP de Trois-Rivieres and her M.D. degree from L’Universite de Sherbrooke. She completed her residency at Le Centre Universitaire de Sante de l’Estrie. Dr Rivard is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Her professional interests include fertility evaluation and treatment, tubal reversals and laparoscopic surgery. She has also developed an expertise in Robotic Surgery. Mother of Alex and Emma, she enjoys running, hiking, cooking and yoga. She is fluent in French and English.

The thing about Dr. Rivard that makes her so special is that she takes the time to talk with you. You leave there feeling valued and not just a faceless person on a conveyor belt going through the process of the medical world. Every visit I have had with her has been top notch. Annual Well Woman Exam

I was scheduled to have my Mammogram at the same time as my Wellness exam. I was to have Mammo at 8:40 and to see the doc at 9:00. I arrived in Ste. 101 for Mammo and was told that it had been cancelled on 12/30 by someone by the last name of Donaldson at Redefined For Her. I went upstairs and was told that RFH was no longer using them, and I would have to go somewhere else to have my mammo and someone should've called me to let me know. I received a text the evening prior to my appt telling me to arrive in Ste.101 for the mammo. So, there were a lot of kinks that were still not worked out. I drove from Reidsville for the appt and I had to go to High Point for work. So, convenience is the name of the game for me. So, it would have been nice to be able to have both appointments together as I had originally scheduled them. I now have to make plans to again schedule time off of work to go and have a mammo done. And my appt to see the doc was for 9:00 and it was close to 9:45 when the doc came in to see me. I believe I may have been her first appt for the morning...I could be wrong about that but just scheduling I suppose knowing that I had to get to High Point for my workday. Maybe it is better for me to try to latest appt in the day instead. I could try that in the future and see if that works any better for my schedule. Thanks for allowing me to provide feedback.
