Salena wants to encourage her patients to be empowered and involved in their healthcare. She wants each patient to know she has really listened to them and desires to be their health advocate.

Salena has three sons and one cat. She loves being outside jogging or sitting on the couch reading. She was born and raised in Asheville. She began her nursing career as an LPN at Asheville Women’s Medical Center in 1999 and is excited to be back now as a Nurse Practitioner.

Wait times were reasonable (I've had terrible experiences at this center with wait times in the past, but not this time!). Salena was also fantastic -- very knowledgeable, approachable, personable. I felt like she listened and told me what I needed to know. Would be very happy to do another visit with her.
