Rachel Thomasson grew up in Fayetteville, NC but now lives in Carthage, NC with her husband and young daughter. Rachel enjoys spending weekends at the lake, quality time with her family, camping, baking, and exploring new adventures with her daughter. She has a strong passion for women’s health, with the hope to help women embrace their uniqueness by gaining a better understanding of our bodies.

Rachel has been working in women’s health for 7 years as a Registered Nurse and most recently graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Pessary Insertion / Removal

My mother is 94 and has been coming to Williamson Gyn beginning 2023 for needed care that can often be uncomfortable. Not her favorite self care task, but she has felt supported and well cared for. I appreciate that Rachel was very attentive, listened to my Mom and took her time. Additionally, staff at the desk and nursing staff were supportive and attentive.
