“Women’s medicine is so fulfilling to me as a physician because it allows me to solve specific issues with conservative therapies and advanced treatments like minimally invasive surgery. It also gives me the opportunity to make a positive, long-term impact on my patients’ lives through preventive care and education.

“I’ll work closely with you to make sure you understand any health issues you may have. Dr. D’Andrea spends her free time with her husband, three daughters and extended family. She enjoys reading and excercising outdoors. She volunteers with various community organizations.

Gynecological Ultrasound / Sonogram

This was a follow-up on ER appointment.It is determines that there been no change since last years diagnosis of problem. Will continue to monitor. It was also suggested that I follow up with my primary provider on the bladder infection. My anual visit will be in December '25. We will re-visist any concerns at that time. Or if experiencing a problem before the, to make an appointment with OB/GYN office. Thank you

Gynecological Ultrasound / Sonogram

This was my first time at the 3511 John Platt Drive location and the front desk staff were pleasant, patient and kind in uploading my new insurance information. However, two employees, the Nurse/Assistant who escorted us back and the Ultrasound Technician were both extraordinarily friendly, helpful and sincere and made my husband and I feel that we were genuinely cared for. Dr. D' Andrea came in and was very professional and friendly as well. To top things off, she succinctly answered my question and concerns and sent me off with a good bill of health!!!

Dr D'Andrea is the best doctor in her field. I am 67 years old and I have been her patient for 20 years. I move here from NYC and had a condition and she said don’t worry we can take care of this and she has done that more than that she cares about the whole person. I talk to her like she is my family and I am very real about all of me physically and mentally. I know that Dr D'Andrea was honored at carteret Health center as the best Doctor for the year of 2023. This is my 4th or 5th year with Dr. D’andrea. When she walks in the room she has reviewed my chart ahead of time so I don’t have to repeat what is already in there. She follows up on even the small things she has attended to in the past to make sure we are still on the right path. She is always positive, caring and efficient. Female exams are awkward and uncomfortable, but she makes the exams tolerable and quick (but thorough). The front desk staff and MA were friendly and efficient as well. I’m thankful for Carteret OB-GYN!

Usually the wait is very long before mammogram and after the mammogram waiting for the Dr. It was not that long this visit which was great. Also, the “nurse/ma” didn’t have me change in the gown until the Dr was ready. So I wasn’t left freezing on that table half naked. She also offered me a bottle of water which was very much appreciated! I also adore Dr. D’Andrea. She has never rushed through a visit, asks about my kids, and actually explains all the changes my body is going through with menopause.
