Dr. Simmons believes in delivering comprehensive women’s healthcare through all stages of life with compassion and respect. To accomplish this, she sees her patients as partners in health, whether the goal is preventative care or treatment of active disease.
Dr. Simmons is proud to offer patients the most current, safe, and clinically proven medical and surgical treatment options. Her special interests include family planning, contraception, infertility treatment and menopausal management. She specializes specifically in a minimally invasive surgery option called Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS). Dr. Simmons is married and has one daughter. She and her family enjoy cycling, hiking, active vacations, ACC basketball, and their chocolate Labradors Bella and Mica.

Mammogram

I did not feel as though the Mammogram was performed as thoroughly as in the past. Also, I have dense breasts and I am not pleased with your new criteria as to how you choose the additional ultra sound. I always get an ultrasound immediately after the mammogram and was not given one this year, per your new criteria. My Sister has had breast cancer, a double mastectomy, so there is cancer in my family. Yet, I am what you call border line, so I don't warrant an ultrasound.

Firstly the staff is always very pleasant, efficient, and helpful. Dr. Simmons is very nice and thorough. She explained what she was going to do and why.
