Dr. Goodwin finds humor a great avenue for dialogue. She also has a passion for figuring out disease processes. Dr. Goodwin is married and has two boys. A native North Carolinian, she has lived in Asheville since 2003. She enjoys biking, travel, and building fires in the backyard with her family, and hosting international students.

Dr. Goodwin has made me comfortable since the first time I met her. She is thorough and explains everything and anything that she recommends as well as the entire exam process. I enjoy being around Dr. Goodwin and look forward to my annual visits. I feel that she truly cares about me as a whole. Both mentally and physically.
