Kim joined our team in early 2016 but has worked as a nurse practitioner for the past 16 years.

She received her bachelor of science in nursing from Lenoir-Rhyne College and her Master of Science in Nursing and her Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee. Kim loves women’s health care, especially young women and caring for families.

She is married to her sweetheart for 30 years and they have one adult son together. She also loves to spoil her Doberman, Lucy and when not working enjoys doing mission work, traveling, reading and attempting to knit.

She is the most knowledgeable and kindest doctor I have had. I have a rare neurological condition, CADASIL. She is one of the only doctor, besides my neurologist, she became familiar with it and found I can not be put on any hormones for perimenopausal treatment, it would make me evan more at risk for strokes. She is wonderful and I trust her.
