Dr. Kesty joined Lyndhurst Gynecologic Associates in September of 2019 after completing her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She was born and raised in northern Ontario, Canada, then received her bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Minnesota, where her father was raised. She then attended Wake Forest Bowman Gray School of Medicine, where two sisters were simultaneously attending. Having moved south for residency, she was happy to return to Winston-Salem after training. She is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and her professional interests include contraceptive counseling, high-risk obstetrics, vulvar dermatology, robotic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and urogynecology. In her free time, Dr. Kesty enjoys running, biking, traveling, spending time with her family, and finding new places to swim.

Routine Pregnancy / Prenatal Appointment

If I could have all of my appointments with Dr. Kesty, then I would. She delivered my daughter in 2020 and will deliver my son this year. She is the only doctor that spoke to me plainly when I had already been in the hospital for 4 days in labor.

Loop Electrical Excision Procedure (LEEP)

Dr. Kesty has amazing bedside manner and explains everything well. She listens to concerns and offers realistic solutions. I would like to have some hormone testing done and listed my concerns about hair loss and lack of energy. That wasn't really addressed during my visit. But we discussed several things and it may have slipped her mind.

IUD Insertion / Removal

Dr. Kesty and the nursing staff were extremely attentive and kind after the IUD insertion did not go as planned and was very painful/eventually had to be removed. I appreciated ongoing follow-up from the nurse while I waited for follow-up from the ultrasound tech and the fact that she brought me water and tried to help me be as comfortable as possible. Dr. Kesty was extremely kind and provides personalized care which I appreciate greatly.

Follow-up Visit (Problem / Complication)

Dr. Kesty is always so pleasant. She listens and will talk you through anything she is doing if you are having a procedure. She tries to come up with multiple options to problems if there are any that need to be addressed. I trust that she has my ultimate well being in mind and I appreciate that. A lot of Drs just want to write you a medication to get more money. I think Dr. Kesty is a very good doctor and adds positively to your office.

I was left waiting in Sheeran room. Dr Kesey said she was coming back and never did. She gave m papers to the receptionist but never came and got me. I waited fifteen minutes before I found out she left me in there. I also wasn’t satisfied with our interaction. She was very bleak and seemed disinterested.
