Dr. Simmons then attended LSU Medical School in Shreveport, LA where she earned her medical degree in 2018, receiving an award for excellence in OBGYN. She went on to complete her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA earning distinction in laparoscopic surgery in 2021. She enjoys cooking, being outdoors, playing tennis and spending time with her husband and her dog.

My provider listened to and thoroughly answered my many questions. She also understands and acknowledges how hard it is to lose weight with PCOS. I rated a 4 instead of a 5 due to some of the processes that make the overall patient experience a bit frustrating. The online self check-in process is quite lengthy. Even though I filled it out, I still had to fill out a paper form on arrival, and I was asked many of the same questions by the nurse that I’d already submitted online.

Staff is friendly and very professional. I didn’t have a long wait. Dr. Simmons was very professional and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions, gave advice and provided a referral for pelvic therapy. She did not rush the visit. I enjoyed the visit. Also, I did miss seeing Dr. Masciello! He is the best!
