Dr. Wright is enthusiastic about obstetrics and helping patients start their families with the best possible care. He believes in delivering the best care possible to women, regardless of age or circumstance.
Dr. Wright encourages optimizing reproductive health before pregnancy and also attending to the needs of mothers after they have had their children. He specializes in incontinence and prolapse surgery, infertility evaluation and management, menopause, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Wright is married and has two children. His family has lived in Western North Carolina for many generations. A former collegiate runner, competitive cyclist and tennis player, Dr. Wright leads a healthy, fit lifestyle and is active in his church and local athletic activities.

Mammogram

I felt seen and heard, doctor upheld our plan to remove and replace IUD this year. They quickly fit me into an opening while I was at the office so that I could get my mammogram done as initially planned (machine went down the day before and office had not yet rescheduled with patients). Nurses were supportive and encouraging, mamo tech was informative, assured I was comfortable with temperature, positioning and let me know what she was doing. We had a good laugh when the autorelease was not engaged and I was not able to step back from machine;) I feel valued, a part of my treatment team and know they have my best interest in mind whenever I am at the office.
