She then moved to Akron, Ohio to complete her residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. OB Care

Love dr Murphy, she is so sweet and love having her at on appts. However not highly satisfied as I arrived 15 minutes early for an ultrasound appt, waited 45 minutes to be brought back and told I wasn’t getting an ultrasound. Just felt like a waste of my time, they could have let me know before so I didn’t arrive for an appt they didn’t happen.

For my our first baby we actually left this hospital and switched to another because of the lack of bedside manner from the doctors and staff. I came in excited as a first time mom and would leave crying. Deciding to try you all again while Trying to conceive was not an easy decision. dr. Murphy completely changed that around. She was kind and patient and understanding. Not once did she use the term “geriatric “ and not once to see make me feel anything but capable and understood. Also, the phlebotomist That took my blood was also amazing. Like many other people, I don’t love needles. She did a wonderful job of showing patience and support.

I tried to see Dr. Trollip, whom I have seen in the past. My appointment was canceled three times so that she could perform a procedure or surgery instead. The fact that there are not protected days where your appointment won’t be scheduled over is insane. Every other doctor’s office has specified surgery/procedure days. The canceling process is also ridiculous. The fact that the patient has to call in to reschedule after the office cancels the appointment is absurd. The office should be calling patients to reschedule or at least picking up the phone when patients call in. I had to call 2-4 times each time my appointment was canceled just to reschedule. Because I was not having any luck getting in with Dr. Trollip, I agreed to see a different provider - Dr. Murphy - for this year’s annual exam. When I was unable to get in with Dr. Trollip in the spring and was having symptoms I really wanted to discuss, I ended up seeing a doctor at a difference practice who spent an hour with me going over my symptoms and entire gynecological history in addition to running blood test; this led to a diagnosis and some new prescriptions. Within the first minute of meeting Dr. Murphy, I informed her of this information so that those medications could be added to my chart and - without asking any questions and never having met me before - told me that the diagnosis was wrong simply due to my age. I was appalled; I had just met this doctor and she hadn’t asked me any questions regarding my symptoms or what had led to that diagnosis. Not to mention, if she was really concerned I was misdiagnosed, the bedside manner was terrible. She then didn’t even add the medications to my chart. This whole experience was so terrible that I will be switching to a different practice, which is a shame, because I really did like seeing Dr. Trollip when I could actually get in to see her.
