Amanda Jones is originally from Arizona but has called North Carolina home since 2016. Amanda has been experiencing life with her husband and children in several states. Along the way she developed her professional career in women’s health, following her passion as a registered nurse in labor and delivery and ultimately reaching her goal of becoming a certified nurse midwife.

As a board-certified nurse midwife, Amanda focuses on supporting and empowering women and their families through individualized care, mutual partnership, and meaningful communication. She provides midwifery care that allows every family to feel safe, supported, valued, and respected.

Amanda and her husband Scott have four children. They especially enjoy spending time together at the beach soaking up the warm weather. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys working on home improvement projects with her husband, decorating her home, and developing her crafting skills.

Last year, I had a very very hard delivery. My first appointment after that I had baby pictures ready to show everyone at the office who asked thinking since they were invested in my care for nine months, they would want to see. But nobody asked. The first thing Amanda did when she walked in the office yesterday was asked to see pictures of the baby even though it had been a year. I tell this story not because that In itself is why I’m highly satisfied, but because it is a great example of what care should look like. Not only do I find her knowledgeable, but I also find her to be a caring empathetic person. Personable. In short what everyone wants from a physician.
