Raleigh OB/GYN Centre began offering state of the art care in January 1974. We were founded with a mission to provide women and their families with personalized, unwavering care. Since that time, our mission and values have remained the same. Our team of physicians, nurses, and medical staff are committed to providing patient care in a nurturing, supportive environment.

We are thankful for having the privilege of caring for mothers, daughters, and now granddaughters during our time in the community. Serving a third generation of patients is a meaningful compliment that we do not take likely. We look forward to continuing to serve our patients and their families.

    Waiting time to get checked-in, waiting for the physician to come to the exam room was minimal! Staff was helpful and kind. Dr. Briscoe was focused on me as a person and taking time to answer my concerns questions and offering multiple routes of solutions. Additionally preparing me for my first mammogram experience which I was to have immediately following my apt.

    Dr. Brimmage is just such a pleasant doctor who listens and cares. He takes his time, looks at you while discussing things, and actually cares for his patients. His medical assistant Theresa was super sweet also.

    I love the location, closer to home. The staff was very friendly, the office was clean and offered mints, crackers, and mini soda cans in waiting area. I always look forward to my annual appointments with Dr. Alan Segal. I have been a patient of his for over 20 years. He is very professional and understands the stages of life within Woman health care. His nurse was also very professional and kind.

    IUD Insertion / Removal

    As always, the reception staff greeted me warmly and got me checked in efficiently. My first nurse - whose name I am failing to remember, but she was wearing glasses and a gray sweatshirt - confirmed why I was there and smoothly corrected my appointment after she realized I was there for an IUD insertion. The second nurse, Maya (sorry if spelled incorrectly!!), recognized my nervousness and met it with compassion and respect, which calmed me. Dr. Flyke follows in the footsteps of your other doctors, being respectful, communicative, patient and supportive throughout the procedure. Afterwards, Dr. Flyke made sure that I felt comfortable to stay in the room until I felt ready to leave. It also made me smile that my first nurse brought me chocolate (in addition to crackers and ice water) after the procedure and checked on me twice. It was truly the best experience I could’ve asked for when undergoing an IUD insertion.
