Originally from Kansas, Jennifer Santos came to Winston-Salem in 2004. She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1999. Jennifer worked at Forsyth Medical Center and Wake Forest Baptist in labor & delivery, as well as Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and Duke University Ob/Gyn clinic. After 22 years of experience as a women’s health nurse, primarily in obstetrics, labor and delivery, and high-risk pregnancies, she received her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2021 and became certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Providing continuity of care to better women’s overall health for a lifetime continues to be her primary goal.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family, going to her children’s athletic activities, hiking, exercising, and spending time at the beach.

Pap Smear

She appeared to care about my health didn’t take long to do what needed to be done, which was not experiences I had from a former family physician. She made my husband feel to be a part of my care, and didn’t mind me or my husband asking questions, I didn’t feel rushed. I felt she communicated to us both very well. She appeared to be genuine in her communicating. Her doing my Pap smear and breast exam procedure was excellent not something I experienced from a former family physician and a colonoscopy Dr. when I went by myself “but not anymore” I would and I believe that my husband would highly recommend Dr Jennifer Santos we both felt we were in a safe environment with getting better healthcare. I want to keep her as my Dr. I am not interested in seeing a male gynecologist unless it’s an emergency.
