Dr. Toro was born and raised in Honduras. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Barry University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received her medical degree from the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, in 2017. Dr. Toro is joining us after completing her residency at New York Presbyterian Cornell. She speaks both English and Spanish fluently.

Dr. Toro has special interests in pregnancy, gynecologic exam, ovarian cysts, minimally invasive surgery, fibroids, sexually transmitted diseases, abnormal uterine bleeding, and gynecologic genetic syndromes. Her approach to working with patients is to be centered around patient comprehensiveness and compassionate care.

While not working at A Woman’s View she enjoys cooking, traveling, reading biographies, and exploring North Carolina since she is new to the state.
