Dr. Anita Hudson-Fraley, a graduate of Goldsboro High School, returns to our community with over twenty years of practice experience. After graduating from the ECU Brody School of Medicine with her medical degree, she completed her OB/GYN training in York, PA. Subsequent to private practice in Greensboro and Raleigh she most recently served as part of the teaching faculty at Duke University and as OB/GYN residency coordinator at Duke Regional Hospital.
Dr. Hudson-Fraley most appreciates building long term relationships with her patients and their families. She has professional interests in Women’s Sexual Health, including sexual dysfunction and its impact on the intimate relationship. In addition, she has a focus on self-esteem and proper body imagery in pre-adolescent and adolescent girls.

As the mother of a daughter and son, she enjoys traveling for their sporting events and loves to sing karaoke and salsa dance. She is excited to be practicing back home here in Goldsboro. We welcome her home and are privileged to have her join us.

Post-Partum Appointment

Normally, I have a 10 out of 10 experience with this clinic. The front desk associates, nurses, and the providers I have encountered always do a great job!!! However, I was HIGHLY disappointed with my visit with Anita Hudson-Fraley. She was very short and lacked compassion. She made me feel as if she did not want to be there. I have never experienced this kind of behavior from any of the staff at Wayne Womens. I do not recommend this provider to anyone.

Treatment / Procedure

I am very satisfied with my experience with Wayne Women's Clinic. Dr. Hudson-Fraley has provided consistent, kind, and courteous service to me and my male partner. He and I are both disabled with PTSD and C-PTSD and dissociative disorders, so having the kind, considerate, and guiding presence of Dr. Hudson-Fraley has been really helpful. She takes time to answer questions and provide thorough explanations. She is also humorous. She appreciated our situation and helped us find a helpful solution for me to not have children (I have no desire to be pregnant) and to reduce my severe menstrual cycle symptoms, which included heavy bleeding and painful, near debilitating cramps. I would recommend Dr. Hudson-Fraley to anyone seeking GYN services.

Pre-Operative Evaluation

Dr. Hudson-Fraley was unprofessional and insensitive. She continued to tell me that a full hysterectomy was needed when we had discussed a partial hysterectomy. She appeared to have had the incorrect patient after I asked her twice if she had the right patient. She told me to listen to her and not my mother or anyone else after I told her I had been discussing this matter with women who had previously had this surgery. I had to let her know that my mother had not had a hysterectomy and she was 75 years old. I felt it was wrong for her to bring my mother in this matter. After I informed the responsible person that I was not going to have a full hysterectomy, she went and told Dr. Hudson-Farley and she later canceled after a brief back and forth of question and answers between us. It was as if she wanted to do more than what we had discussed over a year. This was not the only time she had reacted this way toward me but this was the last time I was going to accept it.
